Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m a registered nurse turned fractional executive, and The Executive Presence is the business I built for the leaders I wish I’d had on speed dial when I was running services from the inside.
I started my formal education with a Certificate III in Aged Care in 2012. Thirteen years on, I’ve completed an MBA (Governance) - sitting on top of a Bachelor of Nursing and a current AHPRA registration. I’ve been the support worker. I’ve been the nurse on the floor. I’ve been the service manager, the senior leader, and the executive in the boardroom.
That trajectory matters in NDIS, aged care and community services because the work doesn’t live in a deck. It lives in policies that support workers can actually follow, in board papers that pass scrutiny, and in audits that don’t catch you off-guard. I’ve done all of those jobs - and I bring that to every engagement.
I’m also a country girl at heart, based in regional Victoria, working with clients Australia-wide both virtually and in-person. That’s deliberate. The providers I work with are often outside the capital cities, often under-served by Big-4 consultancies, and almost always looking for a senior partner who actually understands how the work gets done at the front line.
